"Careers in Mining Technology," July 26 - 30, 2010 or August 2 - 6, 2010, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at
Westmoreland County Community College-Greene County Education Center, 100 EverGreene Drive,
Suite 102, Waynesburg PA 15370. This 5-day workshop is for high school students interested in exploring a mining technology or engineering career. Get one step ahead in your future career this summer!

  • Earn a First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Learn about the History of Mining
  • Study Geology
  • See Mining Equipment
  • Take a Field Trip to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in Pittsburgh

  • Learn about Environmental Issues related to Mining

  • Experience a FREE Penn State University Class in Greene County
